The prevention of unauthorised access, accidental loss or destruction of personal data is controlled by statute under the 1998 Data Protection Act. Consequently, the treatment of data carrying media is something that Circuit take very seriously.
Firstly we always discuss our clients’ individual requirements in this area before we collect any equipment so that we fully understand the value of any data that might be contained on any hard drive etc. We have a number of options available from on-site data erasion to complete destruction of the data medium. Circuit will meticulously ensure adherence to our clients’ instructions.
