Assessing what needs doing
The first thing we will arrange for is secure and lockable packaging to be delivered to your door. Upon receipt of your laptop we will prepare a detailed inspection report within 24 hours – providing a description of the repair and the total cost. This will then be discussed with you and the merits of a repair or otherwise determined.
When forwarding your laptop, please follow these instructions wherever possible:-
- Ensure that the laptop is in a fully assembled condition, including all screws. We can only accept dis-assembled laptops if all parts are included in secure anti-static bags
- Please include the battery and power supply unit for testing
- Please include all original disks and operating system software in the event of hard disk or software related problems
- Please include all passwords and bio passwords
Alternatively, you can use your own packaging, which we will also use for the return. Please be advised that your own packaging won’t be insured against any damage incurred in transit.
